Justin Moore was born in 1984 and grew up in Poyen, Arkansas.  He started singing at age 2 and began performing in his junior year of high school after winning a talent show.  He joined his uncle’s band in 2002 and moved to Nashville where he signed with Big Picture music.

Justin Moore was born in 1984 and grew up in Poyen, Arkansas.  He started singing at age 2 and began performing in his junior year of high school after winning a talent show.  He joined his uncle’s band in 2002 and moved to Nashville where he signed with Big Picture music.  He signed with Big Machine Records in 2008 and opened for acts to include Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, and Brooks and Dunn. 

He began recording with producer Jeremy Stover and released 3 hit singles and an album over the next 2 years.  His first radio single, “Back That Thing Up”, reached number 38 on the Billboard charts and second single, “Small Town USA”, enter the Billboard charts at number 18 and later became his first number one hit. He released his first, self-titled, debut album in 2009.  The album hit the Billboard charts at number 3 and Justin began a “Small Town USA” tour that began in his home town.

Justin released, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away”, in 2011 and it became his third top 10 and second number 1 Billboard hit.  “Lettin’ the Night Roll” was released in 2013 and it became his third number 1 hit.  Country Weekly published an interview with Justin in 2013 showing his domestic side.  Justin is the father of two girls and used his success in Nashville to move back home and raise his kids there.  Justin was also received New Artist of the Year in 2014 at the Academy of Country Music Awards
