Sugarland is a country music duo. Originally, the group consisted of three singer/songwriters from the Atlanta area: lead singer Jennifer Nettles along with Kristen Hall, and Kristian Bush. In early 2007 Kristen Hall left the group; Nettles and Bush continue as Sugarland without her.
Sugarland has received more mainstream national attention than any of the three members had as solo performers.
The group released five singles from Twice the Speed of Life: "Baby Girl," "Something More," "Just Might (Make Me Believe)," "Stand Back Up," and "Down In Mississippi (Up To No Good)," which have received extensive radio play, and the group's first album, Twice the Speed of Life, has sold over 2 million copies, earning it a 2x platinum designation.

They were nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy and performed the song "Something More" at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2007.
